Our work explores quantum states in the family of 2D materials such as MoS2, graphene and hexagonal boron nitride. We work on physics of excitons, linear and non-linear optics, spintronic and valleydynamics, hybrid structures (e.g. semiconductors and ferromagnets) and coupling of 2D materials to photonic resonators. Work on other quantum systems includes electron and nuclear spin dynamics in semiconductor quantum dots.
