The German Physical Society (DPG) and the French Physical Society (SFP) have awarded Prof. Regine von Klitzing the Gentner-Kastler Prize.

She receives the prize for her groundbreaking contributions to the physics of complex fluids in soft confinement, for her contributions to intensifying German-French cooperation within the soft matter community, and for her exemplary mentoring of young researchers.
